Several of your coworkers have been employed at the organization since its
inception and these people seem to be set in their ways. After all, why should anything
change? They have been doing things the same way for 20 years and they will be
retiring in a few years anyway. You are a relatively new manager who has been
with the organization for a year. During this time, you have hired three people
who seem to be working circles around others. There seems to be dissension
among the older workers and profits have slightly declined.
Based on your previous experiences, research you have conducted, and what you have learned from the first four chapters of our text book, write a memo to Vice-President Pontiff to recommend a plan for change. Be sure to support your recommendation with documentation.
